The beekeepers of the ZUGRAVU family raise bees thanks to the knowledge they have absorbed from generations of breeders and continuous study, together with the family-owned ApiZUG beekeeping association. For the seven Zugravu brothers, being a beekeeper is more than a “job” it is a passion!
In 2023, beekeepers of the ZUGRAVU family also decided to open the company “ApiZUG Bio srl” to export honey to the European Union and outside the EU, having all the necessary documents and BIO certifications, as required by the regulations.

To diversify production, the ZUGRAVU family, with its 2,500 bee hives, practices nomadic beekeeping, bringing more than 100 tons of a vast range of organic honeys to the ApiZUG warehouse every year, some truly rare and precious, many of which have won awards.
From year to year our bee families grow steadily.
At the end of the pastoral period, the bee families are brought home… in the heart of Bucovina, in the Carpathian mountains.
